Human Trafficking take place on an international and national level. Human trafficking involves exploitation of human beings in forced labor such as prostitution, factory workers, house-keeping, child labor, and many other services. Human trafficking takes place when people are transported against their will to work under misrepresented situations. "Lucy Liu speak out on global trafficking". USAID
This workshop discusses prevention, protection and legal assistance for victims, the prosecution of traffickers. Anti-trafficking advocacy is a long-term and arduous task, with the leadership of government agencies of many departments and national and international cooperation, and with the help from every one human trafficking can be exposed. Speakers and presenters from Equality Now: An organization who is devoted to the protection and the promotion of human rights of women and girls around the world. Equality Now: presents documented experiences and strategies to stop abuses and to secure women's rights here and abroad. Focus areas of the seminar will cover but not limited to: Discrimination Law; Sexual Violence; Female Genital Mutilations; and Trafficking. It is our obligation to be informed as individuals, families, and communities so that we can be community advocates against such abusive actions.
